Whether you’re a struggling college student looking for a little extra boost, or an office worker, there is always a desire to increase memory. While there are hundreds of supplements that claim to increase memory, boost mood, and provide mental clarity in pill form, it’s hard to know which one is the best and if they even work at all. In the following post, I’m going to thoroughly review Zhou Nutrition‘s Neuro Peak.
If you are unfamiliar with Neuro Peak, what it claims to do is support memory, focus and mental clarity. If you are looking for how to improve memory, this might be the product for you. But let’s look deeper into my personal experience with Neuro Peak.
Does it Help Improve Memory? – Neuro Peak Review
Initially, when I first took the first dose, I didn’t notice much of anything. Disappointed, I shook it off and continued to take the product as it described. By the second day, I noticed that I was able to get out of bed in the morning much easier than ever before. By the second day, I was finishing my assignments at work before all of my colleagues. Finally, by the third day, it started to level off. I noticed I had a mental edge over my colleagues and it seriously helped me improve memory.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I noticed with my experience:
- Noticed more Mental Alertness and Increased energy into the late afternoon
- Felt more in control of my situations and was able to complete work faster than before
- Noticed that side tasks weren’t distracting me from my primary tasks like they normally do.
- Felt happier and more cheerful. I didn’t seem to mind going into work.
- Felt more sociable. I was more talkative and helped me engage in conversation.
- Noticed slight bowel irritation on the first two days. It eventually subsided.
- Took about 2 days to kick in. (Isn’t an instant fix)
- Hard to sleep if you take this late at night.
I found that the pros clearly outweigh the cons with this memory booster. I was quick to notice the memory improvement and mood boosting characteristics of this pill.
What’s in it?
With so much information about supplements these days, it was comforting to know that Zhou Nutrition takes the time to tell us what’s in their memory formula.
- DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol)
This sounds like a mouthful, but what this chemical does is enhance cognition by promoting the production of acetylcholine, a powerful neurotransmitter responsible for maintaining attention, memory and motivation.
- Bacopa Monnieri
This is believed to provide extra support to the protein network in the brain where signals are transmitted. Put simply, this helps “worn-out” neurons with new ones.
Study’s suggest that this chemical (found in cell membranes) is responsible for aiding in learning, memory and nerve cell health in certain areas of the brain.
- Rhodiola Rosea Extract
This herb native to Russia is popular with athletes to help individuals “re-energize”. Rhodiola Rosea extract has been shown to regulate levels of serotonin and dopamine, so the mind can stay focused on the tasks at hand.
- Ginkgo Biloba Extract
Helps support healthy brain function.
Overall, I believe that this is a great bang for your buck. The effects of better memory and improved focus don’t come right away, which is great, because it leads me to believe that this is a more gentle, natural memory booster. After everything, I am giving this product a 4.7 stars out of 5 because I believe it to be one of the better memory boosters and cognitive enhancers that I have tried to date. The effects are smooth and steady.
Furthermore, Zhou Nutrition states that this pill only gets better with extended use, which is exactly what I noticed with my experience. It is nice to know that brands are being transparent with their customers.
In conclusion, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to improve memory and improve focus. The side effects are extremely minimal and can be easily overlooked in my case. The slight irritation I got in my stomach was extremely short lived. The beneficial aspects of this memory booster, however, were extremely optimal.
